This role reports to an Engineering Manager in our Clinical team.Where you will work:This role will be based in our New York City office. You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday.What you will do:Build and maintain the back-end services that power Garners core businessParticipate in an on-call rotation by responding to system outages and support escalations from internal stakeholdersCollaborate across disciplines to provide timely and accurate technical designs work estimates and answers to technical questionsProtect our users privacy and security through best practicesDesign and optimize for the long term while moving fast and iteratively deliver for the short termIdeate on new features and work with data to find new insightsResearch and work with the latest tools and technologiesCollaborate using our tech stackWhat you will bring to the team:3 years of industry experience building and maintaining scalable high-quality softwareProficiency in Python is requiredExperience building building both event-driven and request-driven microservicesA strong understanding of the AWS menu of servicesHands-on experience with SQLExperience deploying supporting and operating applications running on KubernetesFamiliarity working in cross-functional teams using Agile practicesA willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary to ensure company successExperience working in a rapidly evolving startup environmentA desire to be a part of our mission to improve the U.S. healthcare systemAuthorization to work lawfully in the United States of America as Garner does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this timeTechnologies we use:Python AWS NATS Terraform Postgres ElasticSearch Snowflake and KubernetesCompensation Transparency:The target salary range for this position is $137000 - $160000.
