Job Description

Terms of Employment W2 Contract, 6 Months Location: Kennett Square, PAOverviewSeeking a Security Specialist to perform analytical duties supporting security investigations and functions. This role is crucial for determining the trustworthiness of individuals working for the company, mitigating security and compliance risks associated with insider threats, and ensuring regulatory procedures are followed for personnel background investigationsResponsibilities Perform security background checks and re-investigations on all personnel who require unescorted access at a plant. Conduct analytical duties to support security investigations and functions in order to determine the trustworthiness of individuals who will work or provide services for the company. Mitigate security and compliance risks associated with insider threats (e.g. fraud, theft, domestic terrorism, workplace violence, and reputational damage) by performing personnel risk assessments and adjudicating background investigations. Follow regulatory procedures and controls (e.g., NERC, FERC) to ensure that necessary background investigations are conducted for employees, applicants for employment, and contractors. Serve as an advisor on background investigation security concepts and policies and provide interpretation and guidance. Be involved with the in-processing of individuals during peak/outage periods. Verification of information provided to Constellation to gain unescorted access to one of the fleets Nuclear Stations.Required Skills & Experience High School Diploma. 3 5 years of previous customer service or administrative experience. Familiarity with regulatory procedures and controls such as NERC and FERC. Ability to perform detailed analytical duties in support of investigations. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
