Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Backyard Hand/ Heavy Equipment Operator position is responsible for supporting oilfield drilling operations by assisting with mix off, running heavy equipment and other essential duties to keeping the backyard running smoothly and keeping it clean.This position is diverse and may vary on a daily basis. The Backyard Hand/ Heavy Equipment Operator works with heavy equipment and are responsible for maintaining a clean backyard and on occasions will assist with solids controls. This position requires the ability to work in all types of inclement and extreme weather conditions.This position also requires a commitment to understanding and exhibiting Jennmar’s Core Values, following safety rules, federal and state laws and regulations as well as representing the company in a professional, courteous manner at all times. Role and ResponsibilitiesMix off drill cuttings using heavy equipmentPerform general cleanup duties on well site locations and/or at the facilityOperate high pressure power washing equipmentSet well equipment at well locationsLoad/unload trucksGeneral site location maintenance of ground and buildingsAssemble or repair equipment using hand and power toolsOperate telehandlers, skid steers or other moving or lifting equipmentWork and commit to a company-wide culture that ensures that Safety is everybody’s businessAll other duties as assigned Qualifications Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.Prior Backyard/Solids Control experienceExperience operating heavy equipment, specifically excavators, telehandlers and skid steers.Successful completion and passing of company drug/alcohol screen and background check.Must be willing and able to work in fast paced field environment in all weather conditions with a noisy environment.Requires ability for sitting, standing, walking, lifting heavy materials, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs & ladders, balancing, stooping, kneeling, repeated bends, crawling, reaching high and low; This is a Physically demanding position in a fast-paced work environment.Must be willing and able to work as needed on a 24/7 basis.Man camps for on site housing provided while working your hitchAt JENNMAR Services, our employees are our most important assets and is committed to them with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits plan, including 401(k).
