Banking & Financial Services Sales Director
NTT DATA Services is seeking a Banking & Financial Services Sales Director to join our team in Newark, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US). Our BFS practice combines deep industry expertise with leading capabilities across: Advisory Consulting, Customer-Centric Banking, Data & Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digital Banking Transformation & Modernization, IT & Digital Operations.
We are seeking a high-impact, results-driven Sales Director to lead new business growth within the Banking & Financial Services sectorspecifically across Capital Markets and Wealth & Asset Management. This is a high-visibility "hunter" role focused on winning new logos, shaping strategic deals, and driving large-scale transformation engagements. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders while orchestrating complex deal pursuits across NTT DATA's full portfolio.

Responsibilities:
- Drive New Logo Growth: Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities to achieve and exceed TCV, revenue, and margin targets
- Lead Strategic Sales Pursuits: Own end-to-end sales cycles, serving as the Sales Pursuit Lead and primary executive contact for clients and internal leadership
- Sell Across the Full Portfolio: Position integrated solutions spanning: Applications & Digital Engineering, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Data & AI, Advisory Consulting, Infrastructure, Cloud & Security
- Collaborate for Impact: Partner with Client Executives, Solution Architects, and Consulting Leaders to develop differentiated, outcome-based solutions
- Create Market Demand: Leverage marketing and campaign resources to build pipeline and generate targeted opportunities
- Build Executive Relationships: Engage with senior client stakeholders to understand business priorities and position NTT DATA as a strategic partner
- Anticipate Market Dynamics: Identify competitive trends and proactively shape deal strategy to win in a dynamic marketplace
Qualifications:
- Enterprise Sales Excellence: 12+ years of experience across IT services, consulting, or technology solutions
- Demonstrated success selling complex, multi-service deals in a quota-carrying role
- Proven Sales Hunter: 8+ years in new business development with a strong track record of landing new logo clients
- Consistently exceeded $8M+ annual TCV quotas
- Strategic & Consultative Approach: 8 years' experience leading client team engagements that involve translating client challenges into high-value, outcome-driven solutions
- Industry Expertise: 5+ years deep experience with IT services and solutions in Banking, Capital Markets, or Wealth & Asset Management
- Executive Presence: 8 years of stakeholder management experience, including presenting to C-level business owners and key decision makers
- Education & Mobility: Bachelor's degree required
- Willingness to travel up to 40%
