The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on complex and challenging bankruptcy cases, providing expert legal advice and representation to a diverse range of clients. Representing clients in all aspects of bankruptcy proceedings, including contested motions, hearings, and depositions. Preparing and managing trial exhibits and other legal documentation. Collaborating with other team members to manage bankruptcy-related litigation effectively. Providing expert advice on bankruptcy and restructuring matters, ensuring clients are informed of their legal rights and options. Managing client billing, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for legal services provided. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in bankruptcy law and regulations. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Permanent Bankruptcy & Restructuring Associate position should possess the following qualifications: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the Texas Bar. A minimum of 7 years of experience in bankruptcy law, with a focus on bankruptcy-related litigation. Proven experience in legal research, contested motions, hearings, and depositions. Proficiency in iManage or similar legal management software. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail. High level of integrity and professional responsibility, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Proven experience in managing client billing and invoicing.
