Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary:Seabrook Hospitality is in search of a talented and detail-oriented Banquet Line Cook to join our vibrant team. The Banquet Line Cook will be responsible for executing the preparation and cooking of dishes on the banquet line, ensuring the highest standards of taste, presentation, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring passion, skill, and a positive attitude to contribute to the success of our banquet events.Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):Execute the preparation and cooking of banquet dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient production.Manage a specific station on the banquet line, ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented consistently.Coordinate with other line cooks to maintain a smooth flow of service.Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all dishes meet the specified standards of taste and presentation.Address any issues or discrepancies promptly to maintain high-quality output.Work closely with the Lead Banquet Cook and other team members to maintain effective communication and teamwork.Assist in menu planning and development as needed.Keep the workstation clean, organized, and in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.Participate in regular cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and efficient kitchen environment.Performs other duties as assigned.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Knowledge of current culinary trends and techniques.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Qualifications:Education: High School Diploma or equivalent work and educational experience.Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a banquet or high-volume kitchen setting.Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.WA Food Workers Card required.All candidates must pass a background check prior to employment.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching.Ability to stand for the entire shift.Employment Status: On-CallHourly Rate: $18-$29/hour depending on tips and gratuity. Gratuity charges are applied to event functions offering food & beverage.
