Banquet Setup Porter Steady Extra at Wynn Resorts

Responsible for executing the preparation setup and teardown of banquet areas/meeting spaces moving furniture and stage platforms lifting heavy objects such as chairs tables and dance floor sections and pushing/pulling carts and all other duties as determined by the Director of Catering and banquets.The Banquet Porter interacts with guest and maintains the cleanliness of work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards & fire codes from the City of Nevada.Qualifications : Candidate must be able to communicate in English both in written and oral form.Previous experience as a banquet set up porter preferred but not required.Requires the ability to work consistently with tables and chairs and communicate with other and within a team environment.Must have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced and stressful environment with prolonged walking/standing.Must have the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. at a time push/pull up to 400 lbs. at a time; and handle heavy machinery such as pallet jacks tuggers forklifts etc.Candidate must be able to work rotating shifts and be available to be on-call /standby for shift availability.Requires a valid Clark County Health card.Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.Additional Information : Wynn Resorts is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
