Job DescriptionThe Eataly Caffe Lead serves as a brand ambassador embodying Eatalys core values of hospitality and exceptional quality. Caffe Leads work across all areas of the operation in both back-of-house and front-of-house to provide high quality menu items and experiences. Caffe staff are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and upholding health and safety standards ensuring Eatalys recipes and high standards and assisting with shift administration and opening/closing duties.Oversees daily operations to ensure that Eataly Caffe consistently meets standards for guest service employee practices operational efficiency and health and safety.Collaborates closely with the Caffe Manager to manage and monitor standard operating proceduresLeads by example to motivate and train Caffe Team MembersManages labor costs inventory regulatory compliance pricing and merchandising to optimize operational performance.Collaborates with other team members seamlessly and fulfill duties across all sections of the Caffe including back-of-house and front-of-house areasMasters product knowledge and storytelling to answer questions about our menu and products offering guidance on allergens and ingredient information.Maintains Eataly Caffe standards of guest service presenting a hospitable and professional demeanor during all levels of business volume Ensure the Caffe remains clean organized and neat at all times in both guest and employee areas through assigned cleaning duties such as bathroom checks and table maintenance washing dishes and equipment cleaning prep and service stations and stocking guest and employee areas.Receive retail and product orders. Unload organize and stock deliveries; record information; communicate shortages discrepancies and expired or damaged productsSets up stations and replenishes displays neatly including separation of allergens (nuts wheat etc.)Assists the Caffe Manager with shift administration including opening and closing duties.Operates the Point of Sales (POS) system ensuring accuracy of cash drops and authenticity of billsActively trains Caffe team members in collaboration with the Store Manager and other Caffe teams.Represents the store to the community and guestsPerforms other duties as assignedCompensation: The hourly compensation for this role is $22- $24 per hourQualifications : 2 years of experience supervising a café or quick service operationExperience and knowledge in coffee/food production and BOH managementExcellent communication and team leadership skillsOutstanding problem-solving skills and can stay calm and focused while under pressureProficiency in Microsoft OfficeJOB REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand bend reach and be mobile for up to 4-6 hoursAbility to lift up to 20 lbs.Ability to operate a commercial espresso machine Food Handlers License and Serv-Safe Certification are a plusCompensation: The hourly compensation for this role is $22- $24 per hourAdditional Information : BENEFITS AND PERKSMedical Dental Vision InsurancePaid Time OffPaid Parental Leave401K with match or RRSPBonus programFree family meal dailyDiscounts at EatalyClasses on products and Italian cuisineReferral bonus programand more!Remote Work : NoEmployment Type : Full-time Key Skills Administrative Skills,Facilities Management,Biotechnology,Creative Production,Design And Estimation,Architecture Experience: years Vacancy: 1
