Luana Lounge is an idyllic sunset spot made for intimate celebrations romantic dates and special gatherings. Fairmont Orchids lobby-level lounge features island-inspired hand-crafted sushi and cocktail in our lobby-level lounge. Guests mark another day of rest and relaxation by sipping chilled wine specialty drinks and indulge in fresh sushi selections.What you will be doing: Provide unique dining experiences to all of our guests through warm personal & detailed service in a luxury upscale and fast paced environment.Ensure a positive first impression of the restaurant for our guests through detailed cleanliness set-up and ambiance control.Maintain complete knowledge of all F&B services contents & preparation methods outlets and hotel services/featuresPrepare mixer cut fruit receive requisitions check par levels refill mixers get ice run food and collect and dispose of garbage.Ensure that the bar is set according to standards and proceduresEnsure guests receive warm welcome timely service & a fond farewellTry to remember individual patrons names and their preferences to extend a personalized serviceClean glassware and wipe down bars and tidy up bar counter after the departure of the patrons as quickly as possibleEnsure that all food & beverage are served according to service standardProperly identifying the age of all patrons.Tend to cashier duties for servers for cash payments.Perform opening/closing side duties as assigned and set bar service areas according to standards and proceduresAssist other Food & Beverage outlets with their operations during peak times or when requiredApply necessary precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency proceduresMaintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all timesPerform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the HotelQualifications : Your experience and skills include:Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all timesGood reading writing and oral proficiency in English languageAbility to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantageAbility to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a teamDetailed & service oriented with an eye for detail to be self-motivated and energetic.Provide the necessary State and Federal Requirements to work in Food and Beverage (Tuberculosis Clearance)Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage (Blue Liquor Card)Additional Information : Hourly Rate:  $24.43 USDVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
