Barback / Food Runner at Infuse Hospitality

The Support Team Member (Barback / Food Runner) plays a critical role in maintaining smooth front-of-house operations by supporting servers, bartenders, and the overall guest experience. This position ensures the dining and bar areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked while providing timely assistance to service staff and delivering professional, guest-focused hospitality. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to helping the team deliver efficient, seamless service.

Key Responsibilities

1. .Maintain tables and bar areas by clearing dishes, refilling water, and ensuring a continuous flow through all steps of service.
2. Identify guest needs and promptly notify servers, bartenders, or management when corrective actions are required.
3. Manage inventory pars for front-of-house items, including stocking beer, wine, roll-ups, and other essential supplies.
4. Support servers with additional duties as needed to maintain an efficient service environment.
5. Complete opening and closing checklists, ensuring the next shift is set up for success.
6. Collaborate closely with servers, bartenders, and hosts to deliver best-in-class hospitality and efficient service to all guests.
7. Provide excellent customer service with a professional and courteous demeanor.
8. Keep refrigeration and storage areas clean, organized, and properly maintained.

Job Requirements

1. 1+ years of experience in a full-service restaurant environment.
2. Valid Food Handler Certification.
3. Strong organizational skills with the ability to anticipate busy service periods.
4. Good communication skills and comfort interacting with guests in a professional manner.
5. Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and rotating shifts.
6. Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
7. Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 lbs.
8. Ability to stand for extended periods during service.
9. Clear and effective communication skills.
