Bariatric Surgery Fellow (MDDO) at Inova Health System

DescriptionInova Fair Oaks is seeking a Bariatric Fellow for the upcoming 2026-2027 year. The Surgical Fellow learns and practices medical care to perioperative patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. The Surgical Fellow works closely with experienced surgeons and learns advanced surgical techniques providing the Surgical Fellow with valuable experience and skills necessary to pursue a rewarding career in medicine.The program includes simultaneous clinical and research responsibility.The objectives are to develop a bariatric and advanced minimally invasive surgeon that can assume complete responsibility for the preoperative operative and postoperative surgical care of the general surgery patient undergoing minimally invasive surgery and the morbidly obese patient.
