This position offers competitive pay starting at $11/hour with opportunities for bonuses through tips. Your primary focus will be ensuring an outstanding customer experience while preparing a variety of espresso-based beverages and food items from our menu. A strong attention to detail, adherence to food safety standards, and commitment to a clean and inviting environment are essential aspects of this role. Join us to embody our core values of integrity, love, humility, and courage while connecting with customers at every interaction.Key Responsibilities:Customer Engagement:Greet each customer warmly, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.Answer questions and share knowledge about our coffee and menu offerings to enhance customer experience.Process customer orders and payments efficiently and accurately.Food & Beverage Preparation:Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks in accordance with Scooter’s detailed recipes.Ensure food safety and cleanliness by maintaining a sanitary work environment at all times.Restock workstations and merchandise to maintain operational efficiency.Cash Management:Handle cash transactions and reconcile the cash drawer at the end of shifts per company policies.Team Collaboration:Work cohesively with team members to ensure seamless service delivery.Communicate effectively with colleagues to promote a positive work environment.Store Maintenance:Regularly clean and sanitize the store, ensuring a tidy and pleasant atmosphere for customers.Education:High School Diploma or GED preferred.Experience:Prior barista or customer service experience preferred.Familiarity with coffee preparation and food handling procedures is advantageous.Skills:Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences.Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality beverage preparation and cleanliness.Ability to manage cash and perform accurate financial transactions.Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.Additional Requirements:Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Equal Opportunity EmployerWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
