We need a fast levelheaded individual with polished communication skills and a presentable professional appearance is a must.Duties and Responsibilities: Must have a keen eye to detail and organization.Contributes to daily holiday and theme drink menus in collaboration with supervisor.Adheres to proper alcohol handling sanitation and safety procedures and maintains appropriate dating labeling and rotation of all beverage items.Must have a general understanding of professional kitchen sanitation protocol.Must be willing to learn and adapt to situations and procedure changes as decided by the managementGreeting and seating customersTaking food and beverage orders and accurately entering them into the ordering systemMaking menu item recommendationsCommunicating any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staffEnsuring all orders are filled quickly and accurately and that food is high qualityProviding attentive service to diners like refilling drinks as needed and checking their needs during mealsPromptly addressing any customer service issues and referring to management if and when necessaryPerforming some cleaning duties such as at the service station around the kitchen and in the dining areaSkills and Qualifications:Service staff are required to possess at least 2 years of fine dining experienceExcellent customer service including patience and a friendly demeanorExceptional organization and time managementEffective written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of foodservice regulations and proper food handling proceduresWine Knowledge a must (wine certification preferred)Capability to learn quickly and memorize menu detailsComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentWilling to work flexible work schedules that include nights and weekendsPhysically able to be on their feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds unassistedBenefits:Family MealHealth insurance Vision and Dental for full time employees50% off for you and friend at your restaurant of employment. 20% off any of our other restaurants.Real honest opportunity for vertical promotion the group is expanding!Very Competitive compensation based on experience and performance.Riojas Mission Statement- We share an uncompromising commitment to provide hospitality creating one-of-a-kind and one-at-a-time remarkable culinary experiences.
