Bartender at Rumson Country Club

Full job description Rumson Country Club is seeking a highly motivated bartender with experience, to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers' needs and expectations. Responsibilities

• Receives orders from patrons and waitstaff.
• Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered.
• Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared ahead of the opening of the bar.
• Maintains the bar and keeps it clean and organized.
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinks
• Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of drink preparation or service.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving customers.
• Ability to remain calm when dealing with unruly and argumentative patrons.
• Computer literacy
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and preparing drinks.
• Ability to complete orders quickly and accurately.
• Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds.
• Must be legal drinking age or older.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
