Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAre you a mechanically inclined troubleshooter with a knack for industrial DC power systems?We are seeking a dedicated Battery and Charger Service Technician to join our production team, ensuring the reliable operation of our customer's critical motive power fleet.This is an essential, hands-on role where your expertise directly impacts our efficiency and safety. You won't just be repairing, you'll be a vital part of keeping our high-volume operations running smoothly.EMS has served our community since 1979, and we have earned a stellar reputation in the community. We take pride in the service we provide and the products we sell.Core Responsibilities:-Service & Repair: Expertly diagnose, repair install and adjust industrial lead-acid and lithium ion batteries and their corresponding chargers.-Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical defects in batteries, chargers and related equipment, ensuring rapid return to service.Preventative Maintenance: Execute detailed routine PM schedules to maximize equipment lifespan, including equalization, cell replacement, and charger calibration.Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures, particularly concerning battery handling, acid neutralization, and high voltage DC systems.Workflow: Manage and complete work order requests efficiently and communicate repair status to operational staff.Company DescriptionElectro Mechanical Services, Inc.
