The before care teacher position is from 7:00-9:00 am and supports the director and teachers by opening the school and helping to create a caring and safe environment for the children during our Before Care program. Must be reliable. Canidate must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment. Perfect for a college student, retiree, parent or anyone looking to start their day with lots of love! Additional hours may be available. September-June. The position follows the Bridgewater School district calendar. Duties·Actively engage in activities, manage cleanliness and availability of classroom materials. ·Maintain communications with parents through informal discussions and engagement app.·Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.·Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to preschool.·Follow all center policies and state regulations.·Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.·Assist with drop-off and ensure a safe environment during these times.RequirementsHigh energy.Ability to work well with others.Strong oral and written communication skillsBasic computer skills. An understanding of child development.Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
