Beachmont Behavioral Health (BBH) is on the lookout for AWESOME Behavior Technicians to bring their energy, empathy, and enthusiasm to our one-on-one ABA therapy sessions with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.Youll be part of a supportive team (hello, BCBAs and BAAs!) thats all about making a real difference one skill, one smile, one success at a time.What You'll Be Doing:Dive into hands-on training in the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)training... weve got you covered!Deliver fun, meaningful ABA therapy in homes, schools, and out in the community. - There will be some play too!!Team up with BCBAs and BAAs to bring each clients custom treatment plan to life.Be open to feedback and grow your skills like a pro.Collect data like a behavior detective and tweak strategies as needed.Help clients build communication, social, and daily living skillswith plenty of encouragement along the way.Support and cheer on parents and caregivers too!What You Bring:A high school diploma (bonus points if you have a bachelors!).Already an RBT? Amazing! Not yet? No worries. Wanna give it a shot? We got you covered!!Already been through a 40 hour training and have 1+ years experience?? We'll fast track you through the process and get you working!!Great communication skills and a team-player vibe.Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities? Thats a plus!Compensation & Benefits:$22$25 per hour.In-between travel and mileage paidPaid trainingIf you maintain full time hours, can qualify for medical, dental, and so forthMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Lives Beachmont Behavioral Healths values, mission, and vision.Prioritizes trauma assumed care.Implements behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.Collects and records data during sessions accurately and promptly.Provides clear and respectful communication with caregivers, clients, and supervisory staff.Participates in training, supervision meetings, and performance feedback sessions.Maintains professional boundaries and confidentiality per HIPAA and company policy.Supports the safety and dignity of each client throughout service delivery.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:This position does not supervise others. Participation in regular team meetings and receive 1:1 supervision is required.QUALIFICATIONS:MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or GED required; associates or bachelors degree in related field is preferredValid drivers license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insuranceAbility to pass DOJ/FBI background check and TB testTHIS IS HUGE!! Be available 230-830 PM M-F ...and if you are available Saturdays 9am - 1pm, that would AWESOME!!EXPERIENCE:Prior experience with children or individuals with disabilities preferredExperience with ABA services preferred but not requiredEDUCATION:Some college coursework in psychology, education, or related field preferredBA Degree would be a HUGE plus!!!LANGUAGE SKILLS:Strong interpersonal communication skillsAbility to understand and follow written behavior intervention plansAbility to write objective session notes and data reportsTHIS IS HUGE!!! Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plusMATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to record and calculate frequencies, durations, and percentages for behavioral data trackingPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, kneel, and play on the floorMust occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsVisual and auditory acuity to monitor client behavior and respond to needsAbility to travel locally to client homes or community sites
