Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are searching for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) that is able to provide 1:1 services.The position provides the opportunity to gain hands on experience and supervision from experienced BCBA's . Must have your 40-hour RBT course completed. GENERAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESProvide 1:1 ABA services to clients in home, community or clinic settingEstablish and maintain therapeutic relationship with clients and their familiesImplement treatment plans as outlined by the BCBASeek appropriate consultation on treatment plan, as neededRecord data for all goals during ABA sessionsEffectively communicate, both in written and verbal formats, with parents about the client’s progressUtilize de-escalation techniques for novel behaviors that are not included in the client’s treatment planParticipate in meetings with the BCBA, parents and other team members, as neededAssist the BCBA with assessment and reassessment proceduresMaintain a safe and organized therapy environmentMaintain client confidentialityAttend trainings required to maintain and acquire technical knowledgeRespond to feedback given by the BCBA during direct and indirect supervision meetingsAdhere to the ethical standards outlined by the BACBAssist with the preparation of client materialsIn-clinic- 875 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458Competitive PayGreat BenefitsSPECIFIC DUTIESTrainings may take place either in person or using video conferencingProvide direct behavior analytic services in the child’s school and homeEnsure video conferencing is available for direct observation of sessions for supervisionSupervision will occur on a weekly basisTake part in weekly team meetings with the family and BCBASKILLSAbility to accept and respond to constructive feedbackEffective time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to interpret and implement clinical protocolsQUALIFICATIONSRegistered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (Not required to get hired)Minimum 1-year experience working with childrenValid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportationCPR certificationCompletion of a Level 2 background clearancePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift and carry clients up to 50 poundsMust be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (e.g., kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting and standing) for extended periods of timeBenefits:Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to Friday
