Personal and professional growth is our relentless pursuit.Advocacy: We champion our clients and teammates with fervor, ensuring they're not just heard, but celebrated.Job Description: Behavior Technician I ResponsibilitiesConduct ABA therapy sessions under the direct supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or a behavior consultantImplement behavior intervention plans to target skill development and behavior reduction goalsUtilize evidence-based intervention techniques to teach adaptive skills, promote positive behavior, and reduce challenging behaviorsCollect accurate data during therapy sessions to track progress and make data-driven decisionsCollaborate effectively with the BCBA or behavior consultant, parents, and other team members to ensure comprehensive careMaintain a welcoming and therapeutic environment during therapy sessions in alignment with our mission and valuesDemonstrate professionalism, empathy, and patience while delivering ABA therapy servicesAdhere to ethical guidelines and legal requirementsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to follow instructions and work as part of a teamStrong organizational skills and attention to detailBasic computer literacyUnderstanding of and commitment to promoting inclusion, dignity, and respectWillingness to be flexible and adapt to the changing needs of clients and the companyA valid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to pass a criminal background check and clearances as required by state regulationsPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience working with individuals with disabilitiesInterest in pursuing education or certification in behavior analysisExperience in childcare, education, or related fieldsWillingness to obtain RBT certification (company-sponsored training available)Position Level & Pay RateStarting Range: $20/hrPay rate is determined by individual experience and qualifications, with opportunities for advancement through additional training and certification.We Offer Impressive Benefits401(k)Employee assistance programPhysical RequirementsOccasional Requirements (1-3 hours): Sitting, standing, walking, simple grasping, power grasping, pushing, pulling, reach above shoulder, reach waist level, reach below waist, reach below knee, ending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, driving personal vehicle.Rare Requirements (0-1): Hand and wrist work, keyboarding, fine manipulation, climbing stairs, lifting/carrying 1-50lbs.The field of Applied Behavior Analysis may involve direct contact with individuals that may potentially exhibit aggressive and/or extremely challenging behaviors (i.e. spitting, hitting, kicking, throwing of objects, etc.).EEO StatementKey Essentials to Behavior Management is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
