Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWould you like to make a difference in the life of a child with Autism? At RCS, we are looking for Part Time ABA Behavior Therapists to join our team and do just that. We have been providing the highest quality of ABA services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities throughout Massachusetts for over 25 years.We have openings in the afternoons in the Metro West area. We also have full and part time hours available in Woburn, Malden, Medford, Everett, and Somerville.Benefits:Competitive pay ($23-30/hr for a Bachelor's level candidate) based on education and experienceFlexible schedules - you let us know your hours of availability and our scheduling team works to create a schedule for youOversight and support from experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)Supportive administrative team that manages scheduling and billingRegionalized service areasYour responsibilities as an ABA Behavior Therapist:Deliver 1:1 ABA services to children diagnosed with Autism and families in their homesImplement skill acquisition and behavior programsConduct data collection and graphingWork collaboratively with other specialty providers and familiesMust be willing to use restraint and hold techniques learned via SOLVE (Strategies of Limiting Violent Episodes) training received upon hire in conjunction with the student’s behavior support planMust be able to lift 60 lbs.Must be able to address basic needs such as feeding, diapering, toileting, and dressingMust be able to work on a computer or sit on the floor for extended periods of timeQualifications:Enjoy working with school aged childrenMust be punctual, reliable, and possess a desire a learnHave an interest in Applied Behavior Analysis, psychology, human services, special education, social work, childcare or a related fieldPreferably have or be working towards a Bachelor’s degreeCandidates with a high school diploma will be consideredMust have reliable transportationExperience working as a babysitter, nanny, paraprofessional, tutor, camp counselor, or coach preferredAble to submit a transcriptIf you do not meet these qualifications but the position interests you, please apply anyway!Other OpeningsRCS has other hours available in communities to include: Melrose, Revere, and TewksburyAshlandFraminghamWe also have positions available throughout the North ShoreThese positions would include a hybrid full time or part time schedule working in homes, centers, and community settings To learn more about RCS or our Behavior Therapist positions, please visit our websites at www.rcslearning.org and www.rcsconsultingne.com!
