Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Title: Behavior TechnicianSummary:Behavior Technicians provide direct clinical services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Services are delivered either in school, in center, or a combination of both under the supervision of a BCBA or senior staff.Based on where you are helping deliver services, as well as your skills and education, we have the following pay ranges:Milwaukee BTs (Walker's Point center)- $18-$22/hrWest Allis Bilingual Center (must be fluent in both English/ Spanish): $19–22/hrSchool-Based RBTs (Active RBT Certificate required): $19–23/hrOur Bilingual clinc is located in West Allis, WI!Essential Duties:Provide 1:1 and group ABA therapy following skill acquisition and behavior reduction plansAccurately collect, record, and summarize behavioral dataAssist in assessments and preparation of therapy materialsMaintain safe, clean, and organized environmentsCollaborate with families, BCBAs, and other team membersRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to lift 50 lbs18 years of age or olderRBT certificate from BACB for school based BTsPreferred Qualifications and Certifications:Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, ABA, or related fieldExperience working in schools, daycares, or community settingsRegistered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification (required for school based position)Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum DisorderAdditional Requirements:Must pass background checks and comply with HIPAA confidentiality standardsAbility to assume physical postures (kneeling, squatting, standing, moving quickly) as needed for client safetyThis job description in no way implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee.
