Our team believes learning should be meaningful, joyful, and empowering for both clients and staff.Position SummaryAs a Behavior Therapist (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at CELECTS Education, you’ll work 1:1 with children to teach communication, social, and life skills using evidence-based ABA strategies. If you’re ready to build a career that matters, apply today and become part of a team that changes lives every day.Duties• Implement client goals created by a BCBA in each child’s individualized treatment plan to focus on social skills, living skills and academic skills, using a 1:1 teaching format• Complete data collection and session notes daily to track and show client progress.• Communicate professionally with client families to provide updates regarding progress• Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA laws and regulations• Assist with creation of therapy materials• Attend team meetings and on-going trainings, as necessary• Other related duties as assigned or requestedRequirements• High School Diploma or GED• Registered Behavioral Technician Certification issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, OR the ability to acquire certification within 45 days of hire date.(training provided)• Prior experience working with children with disabilities is preferred, but not required• Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA practices and adherence to the policies• Must have the ability to bend, kneel, crouch, lift up to 50 lbs and be comfortable spending time on your feet• Strong written and oral communication along with strong interpersonal skills Salary dependent on experience and certifications.BenefitsWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly pay with opportunities for advancementPaid training and supervision toward RBT certification (if not yet certified)Supportive, collaborative work environment
