We currently offer our services in the entire metro New York area (including the five boroughs of NYC, Hudson Valley, and Long Island) and Albany, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware,and the Virginia/ Maryland/DC area. We specialize in conducting initial evaluations and providing ongoing services in home, community, and clinic settings. Achieve Beyond is centered around a culture of collaboration and support to ensure our services are of the highest quality and adhere to our strong ethical standards.All of our therapists will have access to the following benefits:Training and use ofour paperless billing and data collection systemFull practice management we take care of intake, staffing, billing, tracking authorizations, insurance correspondence, and maintenance of your certifications;so you are able to focus on providing our children with the best services!Access to continuing education workshops and trainings (we are an ASHA and BACB ACE provider)Team-building meetings, events, and trainingsWe provide support for career development such as assisting in the process of becoming an RBTWe also reward our employees for providing referralsNow Hiring: Part-time, Hourly Behavior TherapistsHourly Rate: Up to $24 based on availabilityand experienceLOCATION: Cases Available Throughout Fairfax CountyJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the Board Certified Behavior AnalystParticipate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists on the caseCommunicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs at the end of each session, as well as resources and strategies that can be implemented in the home and community to promote consistencyCollect daily data and organize the child's program book weeklyMaintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulationsREQUIREMENTS:Must have a passion for working with children, families, and therapists!At least 2 years working with special needs children ages 2-21 in a supervised settingORsuccessful completion of or current enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or a related fieldExperience using ABA preferredSuccessful completion of 30-hour classroom/online/clinical observationtraining provided by Achieve Beyond and a passing grade on competency exam upon completion of trainingOTHER REQUIREMENTS:Must be self-motivated, a team player, and exercise patience/professionalismExcellent organizational skills with attention to detailExcellent communication skills with children, family members, and supervisorPassionate about helping children and families, and providing services of the highest standards!Must be comfortable working in a home-based and/or clinicalsettingPhysical Requirements:Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases including but not limited to driving a personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.The ability to climb and descend staircasesThe ability to lift 10 pounds regularlyThe ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/or crawl for extended periodsCompensation is determined based on experience and education and will be discussed during the interview process.
