Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBehavioral Health Technician (BHT)FT and PT positions availableLancaster County The BHT provides one-to-one assistance to children/adolescents following individual treatment plans designed to teach skills and interventions to help them succeed in the classroom/community/home environment. The Challenge, in a nutshell:Prompt interventions in the areas of behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, and peer interaction skills based on the treatment plan goals provided by a Behavior Consultant or Mobile Therapist. Collect daily data and document progress notes in a prescribed format for each session with the child/adolescent.Complete initial and annual training as requiredCollaborate with client, family, and all other assigned team members in order to ensure compliance with CASSP. What you need to be SUCCESSFUL in the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) CHALLENGE:Passion for patient care and a desire to make positive change in someone's lifeProficiency in Excel, MS Word and ability to learn and efficiently utilize other computer applicationsMust possess or have ability to obtain Act 33, Act 34 and FBI clearancesValid PA Driver's licenseCertification as a BCaBA, RBT, BCAT, behavior health or behavior analysis certification, or HS diploma or equivalent and be willing and able to complete 40-hour RBT TASK List as evidenced by a certification, or have a minimum of 2 years' experience in the provision of behavioral health services If YOU want to be the ONE who makes a difference in the lives of people in our community, apply for the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT).
