Job Summary The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for conducting functional analyses of patient behavior, participating as a member of the treatment team, contributing to the master treatment plan, and implementing appropriate interventions. This role involves facilitating individual and group psychoeducation, leisure activities, and life-skill training and coaching for patients. The Behavioral Health Technician also ensures patient and unit safety through continuous monitoring and support.Responsibilities:C onduct functional analyses of patient behavior and implement appropriate interventions.^Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to master treatment plans.^Facilitate individual and group psychoeducation sessions.^Lead leisure activities and life-skill training to support patient development.^Monitor patient and unit safety, responding promptly to behavioral or safety concerns.^Document patient progress and interventions in compliance with facility standards.^Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
