CFCE is constantly evolving to better support our community.As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) will support the delivery of CFCEs Behavioral health services by assisting licensed health providers in providing patient-centered care. The BHT works directly with patients to support treatment plans, facilitate care coordination, monitor patient progress, and promote engagement in behavioral health services within an integrated primary care setting.Why join CFCE:Great benefits package, including a Zero (0) cost out of pocket medical plan, 13 Paid Holidays and a competitive Paid Time Off PackageMaking an invaluable impact in your communityGrowth and professional development opportunities availableQualify for Public Service Loan ForgivenessWe are a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code Some of the Functions Include:Support patients during behavioral health visits, screenings, and interventionsConduct and document behavioral health screenings and assessments as directedMonitor patient behavior, mood, and progress, and report observations to the care teamProvide patient education and support related to coping skills, treatment adherence, and wellness strategiesFacilitate group activities, skill-building sessions, or psychoeducation groups as assignedAssist with care coordination, referrals, and follow-up appointmentsMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)Ensure patient safety and follow trauma-informed and culturally responsive care practicesMinimum Education/ExperienceHigh school diploma and 3-5 years work experience.Experience working in behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, or social servicesStrong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsSkills NeededKnowledgeable of community counseling and community resourcesAbility to compile data, complete reports and maintain appropriate documentationAbility to learn or has skills in imputing NETMIS information, Microsoft Word/Excel/Power Point;Ability to work with employees at all levels and other agency/organizationsPositive attitudeAbility to provide advocacy, linkage, and network services for and on behalf of clients and their familiesConsistent and accurate documentation and appropriate billingBilingual a plusCFCE is a Drug Free Workplace and an Equal Opportunity Employer.
