Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for our Red Oak Recovery Foothills facility in Ellenboro, NC. We provide an enriching program that helps young adult men improve their lives. Behavioral Health Technicians teach a wide variety of coping strategies and emotional regulation skills to our clients, empower clients to take responsibility for their actions, promote and encourage clients to make healthy decisions and positively motivate clients by modeling healthy behavior.Responsibilities:Work as part of an integrative treatment team implementing compassionate clinical careFacilitate therapeutic interventions, process groups, mindfulness sessions and educational groupsHelp clients navigate an interactive schedule which includes education, sports, meditation, yoga and adventure activitiesLead clients on overnight adventure activities (hiking, canoeing)Provide a high level of physical and emotional safety to our clientsScheduling:BHT work onsite 7.5 days on and 6.5 days off. They provide direct support for our clients throughout the day and into the eveningsStaff are provided with meals during their scheduled shifts as well as staff living quarters for the purpose of leisure time and sleeping arrangementsBHT remain onsite during their scheduled 7.5-day shiftEducation & Experience:Must be willing to work 7 ½ consecutive days on shift followed by 6 ½ days offMust have a high school diploma (or equivalent)Red Oak Recovery complies with applicable state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment in every location in which the company has facilities.Red Oak Recovery is a facility of Bradford Health Services.About Bradford Health Services:We’re officially a Great Place To Work®!
