MARTIN Technologies is expanding and seeking a reliable detail-oriented Bench Maintenance Technician to support operations at a Ford facility in Dearborn MI. This full-time hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys mechanical work follows structured procedures and takes pride in keeping equipment running at peak performance.Position SummaryThe Bench Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance troubleshooting and calibration on portable devices used to measure combustion engine exhaust. This role plays a key part in ensuring accuracy reliability and readiness of testing equipment used in automotive development.Training will be provided and candidates who learn quickly follow processes and maintain high-quality standards will excel in this position.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled preventative maintenance on portable exhaust-measurement devices.Replace mechanical components including:TubingFiltersFittingsO-ringsCalibrate sensors such as:Pressure transducersTemperature sensorsFlow metersFollow standardized maintenance procedures and documentation requirements.Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and perform corrective adjustments.Work safely and efficiently in tight or confined areas.Maintain a clean organized and well-documented workspace.Communicate equipment status concerns and completed work to the lead technician and engineering teams.QualificationsRequired:Hands-on experience with basic hand tools (wrenches screwdrivers sockets pliers ratchets etc.).Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand how systems operate.High attention to detail and commitment to following established processes.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Reliability punctuality and strong work ethic.Preferred but not required:Experience in automotive mechanical or technical maintenance roles.Familiarity with calibration sensors or measurement equipment.Ability to read work instructions or basic technical documentation.Work Environment & ScheduleFull-time position located at a Ford facility in Dearborn MI.Hands-on mechanical and calibration work in a lab or bench environment.Training provided by experienced MARTIN staff.Why Join MARTIN TechnologiesMARTIN Technologies is a global engineering and manufacturing company serving automotive aerospace marine and defense industries.
