Benefits Analyst
Kelly is seeking a Benefits Analyst to join a client in Tampa, FL. This position supports employee benefit programs including health, welfare, and retirement plans (401(k), HSA/FSA, medical, dental, vision, life, disability) by ensuring efficient, compliant operations and excellent employee support.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer benefit programs: Support daily operations for health, welfare, and retirement plans.
- 401(k) Experience: Manage 401(k) plans, support/lead non-discrimination testing, annual audits, and Form 5500 preparation.
- Employee Support: Respond to benefit inquiries, assist during open enrollment, provide clear communications.
- Maintain Records: Audit benefit data in HRIS systems, reconcile invoices, and prepare reports for audits and compliance.
- Vendor Coordination: Resolve carrier, billing, and eligibility issues.
- Project Management: Facilitate open enrollment, audits, plan integrations, and compliance.
- Communication: Develop materials, maintain SharePoint pages, lead Shared Services meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 13 years HR/benefits administration experience preferred.
- 401(k) plan administration and audit/testing experience highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); Mail Merge experience a plus.
- Experience with HRIS systems (Dayforce preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage confidential information and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience & Certifications
- Exposure to benefits compliance (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA).
- Experience collaborating with benefit carriers and third-party administrators.
- Mail Merge proficiency (Microsoft Word).
