Join us for a rewarding career in the aviation industry!BENEFITS SPECIALIST AT PRIMEFLIGHTThe Benefits Specialist is responsible for assisting in the administration and management of the companys employee benefits programs. This includes handling benefits enrollment answering employee queries and ensuring accurate record-keeping. The role requires staying informed about current benefits legislation and compliance requirements. Additionally the Benefits Specialist supports the development and communication of benefits information to employees.RESPONSIBILITIES Administer employee benefits programs including health dental vision retirement and wellness initiativesAssist employees in understanding benefit options eligibility criteria and enrollment proceduresProcess benefit enrollment changes and terminations accurately and in a timely mannerServe as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide support on benefit-related mattersCollaborate with benefit providers and vendors to ensure smooth plan administration and resolve issuesAssist in the preparation and communication of annual open enrollment materials and schedulesConduct benefits orientations for new employees and coordinate educational sessions as neededAssist with compliance efforts including ERISA HIPAA and other regulatory requirementsMaintain benefits records and data ensuring accuracy and confidentialityGenerate reports and analyze benefit utilization and costs to identify trends and cost-saving opportunitiesSupport the Benefits Manager in negotiating contracts with benefit providers and vendorsParticipate in wellness initiatives and employee engagement programs related to benefitsAssist with the development and maintenance of benefits-related policies and proceduresCollaborate with the HR team to integrate benefits with other HR functions such as payroll and leave managementStay updated on changes in benefits laws regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvementPerform any additional duties as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS18 years of age or olderEligible to work in the United StatesAbility to work in office onsite Monday-Friday1 year of previous customer service HR or benefits experienceCommunicate effectively in English (reading writing speaking)Bilingual in English/Spanish a plusEffectively communicate with colleagues and clients both in-person and through electronic meansPass a background check and drug screenMust be flexible to work extended hours on occasion to support our field operationsTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential requirement satisfactorily.
