Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 6:00pm EST

Location: Onsite-Chesapeake, VA Training: 4 weeks of classroom training provided

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour- please note this rate may be below your state's minimum wage. Consider this when applying.

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Benefits Support Specialist to support retirees and current employees with pension plan inquiries. This role combines phone-based administrative support and customer service, assisting members by navigating multiple systems to provide accurate benefits information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer calls from retirees and employees regarding pension and retirement benefits.
• Research and resolve inquiries using multiple systems and screens simultaneously.
• Accurately document member interactions and update records.
• Provide professional customer service in a call center environment.
• Support new business implementation and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Call center or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic typing and computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems.
• Must have a GED or High School Diploma
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated hourly rate for this role is $17.00.
