Plans instruction and assessment aligned with Districtlearner outcomes and State achievement standards. Supervises assigned students and maintains apositive learning environment. Adaptinstruction to meet the individual learning needs of all students resulting inan increased probability of advancing their achievement. Primary professionalefforts are directed toward the development and success of their individualprofessional goals and specifically towards instructional improvement and thedevelopment of expertise in all areas of instruction. Maintain positive inter-personal relationshipswith students parents staff and community members. All teachers are members of PLCs with the intention ofgrowing professionally through teaming with colleagues and by participating inprofessional development activities and/or plan for their lessons bothcollaboratively and independently. Teachers will support PLCs through personal involvement throughcontributing to the professional growth of others through their support oftheir school and District culture.
