Bilingual Maintenance Supervisor at Hammes Staffing

We're looking for a hands-on, bilingual Maintenance Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading a team, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring production runs safely and efficiently. What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and support maintenance technicians on assigned shifts.
• Coordinate and prioritize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, production machinery, and facility systems.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues.
• Ensure equipment uptime and minimize production downtime.
• Work closely with production, quality, and operations teams to support manufacturing goals.
• Promote and enforce safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with maintenance planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Train and mentor team members to improve technical skills and performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Lead Maintenance Technician, or similar leadership role.
• Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
• Experience troubleshooting:
• • Motors, drives, conveyors, and production equipment
  • PLCs and electrical control systems
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Mechanical power transmission systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work required overtime, including weekends when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree, certification, or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA and manufacturing safety standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working around industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment.
