The Receptionist performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments.Receptionist Job Functions:Operates a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintains long distance call logsMaintains the reception areaAppointment schedulingVerification of insurancesCollecting patient chargesTakes and distributes accurate messagesGreets visitors and determines the nature of their visitIssues visitor passes and maintains visitor logs alerts appropriate party of visitor arrival or directs visitors to appropriate office department or employeeResponds to routine inquiries from internal or external sources such as the organizations location hours of operation phone numbers and/or email address.Use your skills to make an impact Required QualificationsExperience in a medical officeSix months to one year of multi phone line experienceExcellent Customer Service and phone etiquetteKnowledge of MS Office (Word Excel Outlook Access)Preferred QualificationsTwo years related experience preferredBilingual (English/Spanish)Associate degreeExperience with ECWKnowledge of Medical terminologyMedical Receptionist Working hours:Scheduled 40 hours per weekMonday to Friday 8AM-5PMSchedule may change as per center needsThis role is considered patient facing and is part of Convivas Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
