Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAssistant Teacher for Preschool ** MUST BE BILINGUAL/ SPANISH SPEAKING**We believe in "HUG FIRST & TEACH"Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Your role is essential to be proactive in supporting the Teacher and ensuring a nurturing environment for our little learners. Planning, teaching and implementing the curriculum for all children.Providing love and quality care for the children throughout the day in order to meet their emotional and physical needsPlanning and executing indoor and outdoor experiences appropriate to the developmental levels of the childrenInteracting with children both physically and verbally throughout the dayAssisting children with their personal hygiene, change diapers, assist with potty training when necessaryServe and eat meals with the childrenMeet with parents, staff, and administrationAttend in-service and staff development training programsFamiliarity with state licensing requirements and policiesQualifications:Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fieldsPassionate about working with childrenAbility to build rapport with childrenPositive and patient demeanorExcellent verbal/written communication skillsHigh School Diploma/EquivalentCPR/First Aid (can be fulfilled upon hire)Background Check and Fingerprints (can be fulfilled upon hire)Be physically able to keep up with our active Infant/Toddler/Preschooler.Be able to Lift up our Infant/Toddler/Preschooler, run, and sit on the floor comfortably.We look to hire employees that are committed and looking for a long-term career opportunity.Job Types: Full-time, ContractBenefits:Employee discountPaid time offProfessional development assistanceSchedule:8 hour shift Day shiftNo nightsWork Location: In person
