Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our manufacturing facility. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all equipment and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise in industrial maintenance, and experience managing maintenance teams. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining optimal facility performance, implementing preventative maintenance programs, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks across all plant equipment and facilities.
• Develop and manage maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to optimize equipment uptime and reduce downtime.
• Oversee electrical systems maintenance, including low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and technical specifications.
• Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues effectively.
• Coordinate with production managers to prioritize maintenance activities that minimize impact on manufacturing operations.
• Manage projects related to facilities upgrades, equipment installations, or repairs, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Supervise the work of technicians and contractors, providing guidance on mechanical knowledge, schematics interpretation, and safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations related to industrial maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment histories for continuous improvement.

Skills

• Proven management experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance environments.
• Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems (including high and low voltage), HVAC systems, and mechanical components.
• Proficiency with CMMS software for work order management and asset tracking.
• Excellent understanding of schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams accurately.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to high voltage systems and industrial environments.
• Effective project management skills to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills for team coordination and reporting.
• Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices including troubleshooting using multimeters (ohmmeters), managing low voltage systems, and implementing preventative measures.
