Position Title: Bilingual Paraprofessional (Spanish/English)Location: Revere Public Schools: Garfield Elementary SchoolEmployment Type: Full-TimeStart Date: Immediate. This position will be for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year.Revere Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual 1:1 Paraprofessional (Spanish/English) to provide academic and language assistance to a student whose primary language is Spanish. The ideal candidate will be patient collaborative and committed to helping a student succeed academically and socially.Job DutiesWork directly with a single student to help them succeed academically behaviorally and socially in English and Spanish under the guidance of a certified teacher.Assist with small-group and one-on-one instruction to reinforce learning concepts. Escort and support the student through all environments of the school settingAssist in implementing and monitoring the Behavior Intervention Plan for an individual student including data collectionSupport the students English Language development by clarifying lessons translating as needed and helping the student build language proficiency.Help create an inclusive respectful and engaging learning environment.Communicate effectively with teachers staff students and families.Perform additional duties as assigned by the classroom teacher or school administration.QualificationsFluency in both Spanish and English (spoken and written).Associates degree or higher OR minimum 48 post-secondary credits at accredited college or university OR Successful completion ParaPro Assessment (minimum score of 464).Required Experience:Unclear Seniority Key Skills Campaigns,Client Server,Admin Support,LNG,Document Management Experience: years Vacancy: 1
