BIM Technician Electrical at PRICE ELECTRIC

Are you seeking an opportunity to grow your skills while working on innovative and diverse construction projectsPRICE ELECTRIC is seeking self-motivated team-oriented electricians who wants to apply their field experience and knowledge and expand their careers to include 3D modeling design and coordination in the M.E.P. industry.The BIM Technician works closely with the Pre-Construction Department project managers and field leaders to ensure model content meets expectations and timelines. Primary responsibilities include:Modeling and coordinating electrical layouts and design per contract documentsAdhering to BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteriaFollowing BIM content standards and development proceduresPrinting drawing sets and participating in project reviewsProducing installation and shop drawingsEnsuring LOD meets contract requirementsChecking work completed personally or by CAD Techs for accuracy before next-level reviewSelf-scheduling tasks to meet deliverables and maintaining high attention to detailLeading modeling efforts on projects and working with support modelers to complete deliverables.We will gladly consider qualified candidates who have an equivalent combination of 2 years of college-level computerized drafting/AEC education and at least 3 years of MEP construction experience.We have also found that candidates with 3 years of industrial or commercial electrical formal training and field experience which includes at least 2 years of electrical raceway and components experience can be highly successful with some training.
