Biomedical Equipment Technician II (Contract)Location: Los Angeles CAJob Description:We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician II to join our team in Los Angeles CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation maintenance calibration and repair of biomedical equipment and systems in a healthcare setting. This individual will work closely with medical staff to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and meets regulatory standards.Responsibilities:Install maintain calibrate and repair biomedical equipment and systemsPerform scheduled maintenance and inspections on equipmentTroubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctionsOrder parts and supplies as neededDocument all maintenance and repair activitiesTrain medical staff on proper equipment usageEnsure compliance with regulatory standardsRequirements:Associates degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred.2 years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment TechnicianStrong knowledge of medical equipment and systemsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication and interpersonal skillsCertification from the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) preferredMust pass federal background and drug screen.Must be authorized to work in the United States.Required Experience:IC Key Skills Hand Tools,Anatomy Knowledge,Transportation Management Systems,Physiology Knowledge,Military Experience,Mechanical Knowledge,Conflict Management,Technology Management,Computer Literacy,Dialysis Experience,Equipment Repair,Troubleshooting Employment Type : Contract Experience: years Vacancy: 1
