Compiles data regarding programs evaluates results and implements needed changes.Knowledge Skills and AbilitiesA Bachelors Degree in Education Child Life Child Psychology or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience with children in a hospital setting.Child Life Certification preferredWork requires analytical ability to assess developmental educational needs and to develop individualized plans to meet those needs.Work requires one year on the job training to acquire necessary familiarity with departmental policies and procedures.Demonstrates leadership ability and interpersonal skills sufficient to ensure quality communication between multidisciplinary team members that enhances patient/family satisfaction.Work ConditionsWorks in patient care environment with some exposure to communicable diseases.
