You join a community that respects who you are away from work as much as what you do while at work.Where Your Career is a Force for Good!WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):When you join our teamyou will provide support to the collections operation byacquiringdistributingandmaintainingsupplies and equipment used in the day-to-day blood collections operation.Youllalsobe responsible forthe delivery and return of materials to internal and external customers.To learn more aboutour blood operationsand the impact you can make in this position watch this short video: YOUR CAREER IS A FORCEFORGOOD(Key Responsibilities):Manage blood collection equipment and supplies including boxeslabelsand canteen supplies.Prepare blood collection kitsin accordance withestablished directives.Take inventory and order supplies fromthe warehousemaintainingcollections supply and equipment area. Fill order requisitions from mobile and fixed sitesInteract in a positive proactive and customer-focused manner with both internal and external customersMay drive blood collection vehicles to load and unload required supplies and equipment where applicable and as neededStandard Schedule:4 hours shifts / 5 days a weekVariable scheduleTo best meet the needs of our donors andcommunitystaffworkavariable schedulewhich may includeearly mornings late nights weekendsand holidays.Schedule is providedtwo to threeweeks in advancePay Information:Starting rate $16.00/hour.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED(Minimum Qualifications):High school diploma or equivalentisCustomer service experience and effective verbal communication skills areA current valid drivers license witha gooddrivingrecord is required.Ability to carry moderate weight isOperational flexibility isto meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Must be able to lift or move up to 75 pounds of weight; reach bend kneel climbpushand pull; work in tight spaces.Abilityto use a variety of hand and power tools and work with a variety of chemicals andsolvents.Basic computer skills are.
