Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:Breakthrough Therapy Center in Bloomington, MN, is looking for a skilled and driven BCBA to join our team. As a BCBA, you'll supervise and support therapists working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), providing training, guidance, and clinical direction using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Your role is crucial in ensuring high-quality care, effective program implementation, and strong collaboration with parents.Job Type: Full-Time, HybridSchedule: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PMPTO & Sick Time: 6 weeks total bank per yearHolidays: Off on all holidays Health Coverage (ICHRA): Employer-funded monthly allowance that reimburses individual health plan premiumsContinuing Education: $2,000 annual stipend for CEUs and credential maintenanceMileage Reimbursement: For work-related travel between client sitesOther Perks: Flexible scheduling, mentorship support, and annual company retreatRequirements:Key ResponsibilitiesAssessment and Treatment PlanningConduct comprehensive assessments using DHS-approved tools.Develop, review, and update the Individual Treatment Plan (ITP) at least every 6 months or as needed, and for onboarding new clients.Staff Training:Lead a biweekly one-hour training session for all staff members, focusing on best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), new techniques, and field developments to help our team stay current and improve consistently.Observation and Direction (O&D) Training:Offer specialized O&D training for Level 1 staff members during O&D hours to enhance their observation and direction skills, ensuring they're prepared to support and manage our clients effectively.Case Supervision and Support:Provide case supervision for assigned clients, including creating and overseeing behavior intervention plans (BIPs), conducting assessments, and offering ongoing support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and staff members.Quality Assurance:Help monitor, implement training programs, and enhance service quality at our centers by reviewing session notes, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines, and participating in quality assurance initiatives.Team Collaboration:Work closely with our clinical team, including other Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), therapists, and administrative staff, to ensure a unified approach to client care and staff development.QualificationsEducation:Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis.Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a field related to behavioral health, child development, or a similar area.Certification:Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).Licensure:All providers must obtain licensure as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) through the Minnesota Board of Psychology.Applicants must:Hold a current and active national certification as a BCBA issued by the certifying entity.Successfully pass a criminal background check.Submit the required application and fees to the Minnesota Board of Psychology.ExperienceMinimum of one year of experience working as a BCBA is preferred.SkillsStrong leadership, supervision, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
