Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral therapy services, primarily focusing on adults and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives through evidence-based interventions and personalized care plans. The BCBA will collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to assess needs, develop treatment strategies, and monitor progress within a supportive and professional environment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and supervise individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and intake procedures.Collect and analyze data meticulously to track client progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.Provide direct behavioral therapy sessions to adults with autism or other developmental disabilities.Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and medical professionals to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions.Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations.Educate families and team members on behavioral strategies, progress updates, and care coordination.Ensure adherence to all ethical standards, confidentiality policies, and safety protocols related to patient care.Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with advancements in behavioral health and special education.QualificationsValid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).Experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorder.Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and special education principles.Proficiency in data collection methods, patient assessment, medical terminology, and medical records management.Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and medical documentation standards.Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach toward working with people with disabilities.Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and behavioral health assessments effectively.Experience working within interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care plans is preferred.
