Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Overview Aveanna Education Services (AES) is seeking Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to lead an ABA-based early intervention clinic/classroom for Kaynor Technical High Scool in Waterbury, CT.Location: Cheney Technical High SchoolSchedule: 2-3 days a week or even full time! Grades: 9th to 12th gradesCaseload: Within agency guidelines, includes travel timeHR/Clearance Requirements:TB TestPA State Police Clearance (Act 34)FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)Mandated Reporter TrainingEssential Job FunctionsAssessment & PlanningDevelop and update Individualized Education PlansAlign goals with student IEPs and team inputProvide direct and consultative services per IEPMonitor and adjust interventions based on student progressEnsure fidelity of implementation of behavior intervention plansBehavioral InterventionsImplement evidence-based ABA strategies (DTT, NET, PRT)Develop and oversee Positive Behavior Support plansProvide behavior crisis support as neededDesign programs to build communication, social, and adaptive skillsUtilize tools like PECS, AAC, and verbal behavior techniquesSupport daily living skills (toileting, dressing, feeding)Team CollaborationParticipate in IEP team meetings and training sessionsCollaborate with multidisciplinary team of teachers, therapists, and staffSupervise and coach BHTs, RBTs, paraprofessionals, and class aidesProvide parent training and strategy supportConduct skill-based training sessions when necessaryAdministrativeCollect and analyze behavior and skill acquisition dataMaintain current written documents or electronic files, as required by the clinical team.Maintain daily notes and compliance documentationEnsure compliance with regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.Complete other duties, as assignedQualificationsMaster’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related fieldBoard Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA), in good standing with BACBValid Licensed Behavior Analyst in CTStrong understanding of ABA principles and techniques, including DTT, NET, and PRT.Two (2) years of experience conducting FBA’s and creating Behavior Support PlansExperience teaching functional communication and social skills, and implementing and creating behavior analytic programsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools.
