Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)2025-2026 School YearDistrict WideFull Time School YearTitle: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)Reports to: Director of Special EducationEssential Functions: Serves as a district-wide service provider and behavior consultant forspecial education students requiring services beyond the scope of aschool psychologist. Serves as a member of a clinical team including the Principal SpecialEducation Teacher General Education Teacher Team Chairpersonrelated service providers. Train Tutors/Paraprofessionals so they can appropriately assist in theimplementation of behavior plans.Qualifications: Masters degree and BCBA Certification Extensive experience working with children and their families Experience working with children at the elementary level desired Experience in completing Functional Behavior Assessments anddeveloping behavior improvement plans Excellent listening communication and organizational skillsResponsibilities: Work in conjunction with the other District BCBA to provide support tothe Districts substantially separate programs as well as other identifiedstudents. Analyze available student data to help determine where when and whyproblem behaviors occur. Directly observe students and complete Functional Behavior assessmentsas requested by staff according to established procedural guidelines. Define all target behaviors in objective and measurable terms and designan appropriate data collection system to measure the target behaviors. Integrate appropriate setting event antecedent teaching andconsequences strategies to reduce problem behavior and increasealternative replacement behaviors. Provide district wide Professional Training as well as Train staff memberson the implementation of the behavior support plans. Monitor the individuals behavior data and provide descriptive progressnotes on a quarterly basis (or more frequently if needed.) Conduct treatment fidelity assessments to ensure proper implementationof the behavior support plan. Review behavior data meet and discuss with the appropriate staffmember any discrepancies noted on the behavior data (e.g. lack ofdocumentation inappropriate restrictions or lack of appropriateconsequences; situations in which the current behaviorprogram or treatment approach were not followed appropriately.)Please submit cover letter resume transcripts and evidence of licensure.Required Experience:IC Key Skills Applied Behavior Analysis,Developmental Disabilities Experience,Behavior Management,Behavioral Health,Data Collection,Primary Care Experience,Military Experience,Special Education,Autism Experience,Special Needs,Experience with Children,Social Work Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
