Job Description
As a Boarding and Applications Specialist youll play a key role in creating a smooth efficient merchant onboarding experience for our Payments customers. Youll be the connective force between merchants internal teams and our processing partnersensuring every account is accurately set up approved on time and ready for a successful software launch.This role is perfect for someone who loves solving problems building relationships and helping customers feel confident and supported throughout the application process.Youll report to the Team Lead Boarding and Applications.What Youll DoPartner with Sales to gather pre-application informationCollect and verify required merchant documentationPerform initial underwriting checks following processor/vendor KYC guidelinesAccurately board new merchant accounts to increase first-entry approval ratesServe as the liaison between merchants and processors to secure timely approvalsTroubleshoot and resolve merchant account configuration issuesSupport and de-escalate situations with frustrated merchants using patience clarity and empathyBuild strong collaborative relationships across internal teams to meet launch timelinesMaintain expert-level knowledge of processor/vendor products platforms and systemsBecome a trusted expert on Daxkos payments products and servicesFollow compliance policies and established SOPs with precisionMeet and exceed weekly monthly and quarterly performance goalsCollaborate effectively with team members across all levels of the organizationNo travel or budget management required.Qualifications : What You BringExpertise (or the ability to quickly gain expertise) in Daxkos payments productsStrong relationship-building skillsOutstanding communicationable to explain complex information in a clear concise wayExceptional customer service skills with a focus on patience empathy and problem solvingSharp critical thinking and troubleshooting abilitiesStrong multitasking and computer skillsAbility to work independently stay organized and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentHigh attention to detailEducation & Experience RequiredBachelors degree2 years of customer service experience1 year working with credit card processing ACH processing banks or fintechProficiency with PC tools and systemsDemonstrated success managing complex financial or operational projectsExperience resolving customer escalationsPreferred QualificationsBachelors degree (if not already met above)3 years of customer service experience2 years working with credit card or ACH processing banks or fintechFamiliarity with First Data Merchant ServicesExperience with credit card processing applications risk reserves and complianceAdditional Information : The the pay range for this role is $45000 - $53783.28 annually. Where you fall within the pay range is based on how you demonstrate the attributes and competencies required for the role.
