Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBody Shop EstimatorThe body shop estimator is responsible for estimating and pricing vehicle parts, body shop equipment and other related services. This position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in order to provide accurate estimates of costs while maintaining customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, possess strong organizational skills, be self-motivated, organized, reliable, flexible and punctual. This person must also be comfortable working on multiple projects at once; this individual should not only enjoy challenging tasks but handle changing priorities as well.Detailed job duties include:Provide accurate pricing and quotes for all vehicles.Prepare estimates from the customer's estimating system, including vehicle condition, body shop specifications, etc.Assign quotes to customers by phone or in person at their location; provide detailed price information on each vehicle (including cost of parts) as well as other pertinent information that may be needed to make an estimate.Perform pre-approval inspections with clients’ prioritization before making any final decisions for scope of work.QualificationMust be able to work in a car shop environmentAbility and willingness to learn new skills, including the ability for self-improvementMust have excellent communication skills with customersExperience preferred but not requiredBenefitsCompetitive pay and benefitsPaid time off, paid holidays and vacationsHealth insurance options available for employees including dental, vision, life, disability, short-term disability
