Key Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and receivable ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments. Process payroll including calculation of wages deductions and submission of payroll taxes. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures including journal entries and ledger adjustments. Track and reconcile inventory movements including raw materials WIP and finished goods specific to manufacturing operations. Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements for management review. Support costing activities by tracking production expenses and contributing to COGS calculations. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience as a Bookkeeper preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks NetSuite Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and core bookkeeping functions (AP AR GL bank reconciliation). Experience with inventory accounting cost of goods sold (COGS) and manufacturing-specific transaction processing. Ability to prepare financial statements and assist with month-end and year-end close procedures. Bonus Qualifications Familiarity with inventory accounting and valuation methods. Experience with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite). Basic understanding of cost accounting principles (e.g. job costing standard costing). Proficiency in advanced Excel for financial data analysis and reporting.
