Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable for raw materials production supplies and operational expenses. Manage accounts receivable including invoicing for manufactured goods and tracking customer payments. Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations. Process payroll for all manufacturing and administrative staff. Maintain accurate general ledger records and prepare journal entries. Assist with inventory valuation and cost tracking for raw materials and finished goods. Prepare and file sales tax and payroll tax returns. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience as a Bookkeeper preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Sage or ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) cost accounting and inventory management. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and data entry. Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance or a recognized bookkeeping certification. Bonus Qualifications Knowledge of cost accounting principles (e.g. standard costing job costing). Experience with manufacturing-specific ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite). Familiarity with inventory valuation methods and physical inventory processes. Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and data analysis.
