Benefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceAbout the RoleColdwell Banker Premier is seeking an experienced Full-Time Bookkeeper to manage accounting functions for both our Short-Term Rental (STR) division in Delaware and our Long-Term Rental (LTR) divisions across Delaware Virginia Florida and additional markets.This position supports a high-volume multi-state property management portfolio using two primary systems:Streamline (Short-Term Rentals)AppFolio (Long-Term Rentals)Position SummaryThe Bookkeeper is responsible for daily weekly and monthly financial operations for all STR and LTR accounts. This includes posting payments owner disbursements reconciliations vendor invoices city and state tax payments trust accounting and compliance across multiple states.You must be able to work accurately in both Streamline and AppFolio manage a large transaction volume and collaborate with property management staff across several locations.Key ResponsibilitiesDaily AccountingPost guest payments reservations and adjustments in StreamlinePost tenant and owner payments in AppFolioVerify daily cash flow and correct applied paymentsMonitor trust account compliance and resolve discrepanciesReview property balance anomalies & flag issuesWeekly / Monthly FinancialsPrepare and process weekly owner payouts (STR & LTR)Process and track security deposits (STR check-ins/outs LTR move-ins/outs)Process vendor invoices and paymentsComplete monthly bank and trust account reconciliationsSupport monthly accounting closePrepare city and state rental tax filings and paymentsAssist with 1099 preparation and year-end complianceSystem ResponsibilitiesWork daily in Streamline for STR accountingWork daily in AppFolio for LTR accountingMaintain clean financial records and audit trailsTroubleshoot mismatched reservations charges or balancesCross-Department CollaborationSupport teams across DE VA FL and additional marketsPartner with PM teams to ensure reservation and ledger accuracyCommunicate with owners for financial clarifications when neededProvide accounting support during busy turnover seasonsRequired Qualifications4 years bookkeeping or trust accounting experienceExperience with property management or vacation rental accountingExcellent accuracy attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong understanding of trust accountingAbility to manage high-volume multi-state transactionsPreferred QualificationsExperience working in multi-state property managementExperience preparing 1099s and supporting CPA processesStrong Excel or spreadsheet skillsAccounting degree preferred but not requiredBenefits401(k)Health dental and vision insurancePaid vacationRetirement planBase $45000Contact Information: Teresa Bratcher Vice President of Talent AttractionPhone: Email: Compensation: $45000.00 per year Our core values are pretty simple just do the right thing.
